The Word Is Out! We are so proud to announce that Evotion’s latest feature film THE PLEA will have its world premiere at the 27th Woodstock Film Festival, October 16th, 3:30 PM. This is extra special news since we shot in Saugerties NY and called Hudson Valley home for over 2 months.
In this satirical comedy noir, the film reveals twelve sharply divided jurors sequestered in a hotel to decide a controversial case about personhood. As deliberations spill beyond the conference room and into their private lives, deeply held beliefs, prejudices, and unlikely connections emerge. A jury of our peers becomes a portrait of a divided America struggling to find common ground.
